I was around 4 when my parents brought home our new best friend, Gracie the yellow Labrador. If I’m being honest, I was too young to remember much of anything at that age, but I do know that I can’t remember life before her. She was just always there. Gracie was our partner in crime and constant shadow, loving my siblings and I as we all grew up together. Gracie was eventually joined by a black Lab named Benny and then another yellow Lab named Brutus. My siblings and I couldn’t have been more excited to have more dogs to love. The Three Musketeers have all passed away since then, but they gave me a lifetime of memories filled with their unwavering love and devotion for us and I have had a Labrador by my side ever since. When I’m not working, or with my pups you will most likely find me out with my mini Scottish Highlands, Peter & Pixie. Pixie secretly likes it when I put bows in her hair and paint her nails, and I definitely don’t have to bribe her with peanut hay to do it… haha. And Peter is still the baby of the family, so spoiled to say the least. They’re both small enough that I’m pretty positive they think they’re another one of the dogs… and I’m not going to tell them any different 🧚🏻♀️
